AGRASEN COLLEGE has unique distinction of being a 'Young' college(established in
1971) of the twin towns yet having a long and distinguish record in producing
quality outcomes in terms of student's results and research output from its
talented faculty. we are committed to maintaining safe and orderly teaching and
learning environment. We treat our students with dignity and respect and expect
the same in return.
Our college is
unique in many ways. It provides comprehensive support for a variety of extra
curricular student activities and campus life and at the same time,
interdisciplinary studies are actively pursued. We deliberately use sports, NCC
and NSS in order to develop students into a rounded individual with all the
necessary skills and qualities to make a positive contribution to the society.
Our college possesses the excellent 'hard' and 'soft' infrastructure necessary
to intellectually stimulate and inspire students.
I believe that
educational institutions are places where students and faculty join and dedicate
themselves to the search of truth and development of knowledge. I also believe
that such goals can't be realized unless there is a safe, harassment-free
learning and working environment for students and staff. In fact, discipline is
a crucial part of the learning environment. this makes me put a high premium on
discipline. We have worked out a variety of reforms to strengthen discipline.
Successful implementation of 'Discipline policy' however is a cooperative
effort. Cooperation among parents, students and staff will lead to a safe and
stimulating environment, ensuring quality education for all students.
It's easy to
write fine superlatives and comfortable words, but it is something that we are
honestly trying to do. I wish the college to develop further as a finer
institution of higher learning in the years to come.
