    NCC Activites for the Session 2004-2005

Sh. Kanwal Garg, Head, Department of Computer application.< Maharaja Agrasen College, Jagadhri was appointed as Potential  Officer to serve the College NCC Activates. He was directed to undergo for a three month duration training Camp i.e. PRCN Course held at OTA, Kamptee (M.P.) from 08th Dec. 2003 to 6th March, 2004.

Sh. Garg successfully completed the training and commissioned with the rank of Lieutenant Now. Lt. Kanwal Garg is serving the College NCC - activities as ANO (Associated NCC Officer)

Summary of NCC activity held during current session:

  • An Inter Institute / College firing competition was held on 22nd  May, 2004 at G.N. Khalsa College, Yamuna Nagar in which our College got the First Prize

  • 12 cadets of the College participate in Para Sailing activity held at Army Convoy Groung. Jagadhri from 17th  May, 2004 to 21st May, 2004.

  • A Pre Thal Sena Camp (TSC) was held at Tejli (YNR) from 12th June to 23rd June 2004 in which 14 cadets of the College participated. Cadet Navdeep Kumar was awarded as Best Firer in this Camp. Further doing this Camp, A Blood Donation Camp was organized on 19th June 2004, in which cadets of the College donated the blood.

  • 5 Cadets of the College were selected for Group TSC Team Camp held at Devsar from 20th August, 2004 to 31st August, 2004.

  • During Group TSC Camp, 2 Cadets of the College won the Gold Medal.

  • 51 Cadets of the College attended the Combined Annual Training Camp held at Kapal Mochan from 12-09-2004 to 23-09-2004.

  • 3 Cadets of the College Attended the NIC Camp held at Nilokheri from 28th September to 29 September, 2004.

  • A Blood Donation Camp was held at Maharaja Agrasen College, Jagadhri on 30th Sept. 2004 in which 67 Cadets of the College donated the Blood.

  • One Cadet of the College is selected for Republic Day Parade. Therefore, He is going to attend the PRERD Camp scheduled to be held at CHANDIGARH from 12th Dec. 2004 to 24th Dec. 2004.

  • In  addition to before said activity the College NCC Cadets participated in 15 August Parade held at Tejli Groun, YNR, parade on NCC Day i.e. 22nd Nov., 2004 and on Republic Day parade held at Tejli Ground on 26th Jan., 2005.

  • One Cadet of the College, Name Karamjeet Singh, student of B.A. - II participated in 'Republic Day Parade' held at Delhi.
